I was born and raised in the F&B industry, starting with my family's soy drink business and later helping with nasi lemak. Over the years, I worked in various restaurants across Malaysia and Singapore, where I eventually noticed some concerning practices in many kitchens. For example, I saw containers of chili paste left unwashed for days, with new batches simply poured over old ones, ignoring basic hygiene. It made me realize that food safety isn't just about taste—it's about ensuring what we eat is clean and safe. This realization inspired me to take steps toward making a difference, even if it's just in my own small way.
